Provide sales support to the MassMutual Trust sales team. This includes developing and executing strategies that continuously improve the design and delivery of our sales programs.

Coordinate, plan, develop and implement sales support projects and recommend appropriate strategies, actions, and/or alternatives for business decisions relative to the projects under area of responsibility. Responsible for resolving and/or conducting research to resolve problems and/or issues that impact sales support programs. May provide technical support to intermediary, field force or direct sellers. Complete RFP responses and provide direct sales support to regional/ field sales associates. May perform functions which contribute to the development of strategies that help maintain, and improve existing and new sales proposals, brochures, illustrations and presentation material. May develop/participate in and implement sales support training.

• Seasoned individual capable of handling broad scope projects that have short to medium-term focus

• Works with guidance on more complex projects

• Capable of applying knowledge to handle all but the most complex problems independently

• Anticipates change and directs or redirects efforts

• Looks for and finds ways to improve operations

• Individual typically has at least 5-7 years of related experience


  • Provide technical product consulting support to field force, Investment Specialist, etc.

  • Develop, maintain, and improve existing and new sales proposals, brochures, and other presentation material across all product lines and or field force.

  • Actively create new concepts and messaging around services.

  • Develop and implement sales training, illustration, and recruiting materials for field and home office users.

  • Complete responses and provides direct sales support to regional/field sales associates.

  • Distribute marketing collateral as appropriate.

  • Maintain Trust Company contact management systems.

  • Heavily involved in driving marketing collateral, as appropriate.

  • Profile producers for targeted marketing & training opportunities.


  • Occasional travel (5%) may be required

  • Primary work location is Enfield office

  • Microsoft office suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Self Directed – minimal supervision required

  • Focused/Organized

  • Excellent Communication skills – written & verbal

  • Good Oral Presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • College Degree/Industry Recognized Credentials Preferred

  • Trust experience preferred
