Works under the direction of the WorkPlace Head of Emerging Internal Sales. Manages the Central and Southern regions of the emerging market internal sales teams in supporting the overall retirement plan sales goal. Recruit, develop, coach and manage a team of internal sales consultants wholesalers that partner with external wholesalers in achieving and exceeding their territorial sales goals.


  • Help ensure product sales through the development and coaching of internal wholesaler sales skills, territory management and strategy execution

  • Ensure successful implementation of product distribution plans as it relates to the sales consultant team

  • Keep up to date on the competitive and industry landscape as related to the product line

  • Oversees daily operation of department including preparation of reports, charts, and other statistics to support and direct the sales department

  • Implement short-term business strategies

  • Responsible for implementing cost saving procedures

  • Develop and implement sales tracks and interact with external dealers to increase sales volume

  • Develop unit objectives to align with overall business direction

  • Manages staff in the development and implementation of departmental policies, procedures and programs

  • Adheres to both company policy and governmental regulations concerning department.

  • Assists in managing departmental structure, employee development, training and planning


  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 5+ years related work experience and may have significantly more

  • Experience in retirement plan sales environment

  • Strong knowledge of retirement plan products

  • FINRA 6 & 26

  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future


  • FINRA 7,63,24
