  • Lead team of 10-12 Data Visualization & Analysis associates supporting MMUS Insurance Operations

  • Ensure daily, weekly and monthly reporting provided to all business leaders is consistently accurate and on time

  • Ensure reporting environments are built and maintained properly to enable modern information delivery

  • Ensure reporting solutions are developed utilizing sound visualization principles and best practices

  • Define and support a maintenance plan for production reporting that ensures performance, scalability, security and enterprise continuity

  • Assess and integrate appropriate technology tools that advance analytical capabilities of staff and business partners

  • Develop team strategy in support of overall business strategy to ensure professional and technical development of function

  • Establish vision for the team that inspires and engages them

  • Challenge team to experiment with new ideas; role model lean principles – be willing to fail in the interest of learning and striving to reach aspirational goals.

  • Develop, set and communicate performance objectives for staff

  • Partner with business area managers to identify, prioritize and deliver information and solutions that drive operational efficiency and improve the customer experience

  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or Business preferred

  • 5+ years direct work experience and 3+ years of leadership experience

  • Strong experience building a Business Intelligence organization – people, process, technology

  • Strategic thinker capable of developing & executing on long-term and short-term goals

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire that creates high engagement in employees

  • Ability to lead staff through change while meeting operational and financial objectives

  • Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills with ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with lead team and business partners throughout the organization

  • Knowledgeable in various technology, analytical & Business Intelligence (BI) tools including but not limited to Tableau, Qlik, MSBI, Microstrategy, SQL Server, Teradata

  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in project management methodologies; Agile preferred
