POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Operations Consultant is an integral part of the Strategic Distribution Partners multi-faceted team. They will collaborate with peer Business Operations Consultant on the Strategic Distribution Partners team to own, support, drive and execute key operations functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Owns annuity support for SDP, which encompasses responsibility of:

  • Main point of contact for firm back office annuity operations escalated issues

  • Drive to resolution all firm back office escalated service issues

  • Identify training opportunities and deliver training to improve knowledge and experience.

  • Owns management, oversight and execution of the SDP Suitability Program

  • Execute suitability review and heightened review procedures.

  • Advisor interaction and requests for additional information for suitability sales reviews

  • Collaborate with compliance for annual suitability audits and reviews.

  • Owns SDP Quality Program management, oversight and execution.

  • Perform periodic business quality reviews and identify trends and gaps.

  • Collaborate with SDP Se2 relationship manager to identify training opportunities and deliver training.

  • Manage SDP processing guidelines at Se2.

  • Main point of contact for SDP wholesaling team for

  • Drive to resolution wholesaler escalated service issues

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert for annuity operations.

  • Identify training opportunities and deliver training to improve knowledge and experience.

  • Build partnership with wholesaler sales team, wholesaler operations team and key management.

  • Collaborate with SDP team members, , MassMutual Operations, Se2, wholesaling firm and key operations associates within firm back offices.

  • Partner with peer SDP Business Operations Consultant, to support life business, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive to resolution all firm back office and wholesaler escalated service issues

  • Ability to back up and execute functions of peer Business Operations Consultant.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of annuity sales/operations industry experience

  • Strong working knowledge of financial services industry and third party distribution.

  • Strong organizational, detail orientation and relationship management skills are a must for this position

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Series 6 & 26; required within one year from date of hire

  • Life sales and operations experience
