As part of the Field & Regulatory Compliance leadership team, you will influence the strategy of the broader Field & Regulatory Compliance team.


  • Proactively coordinate with key internal partners (Regional Supervisory Directors, Field Technology, Financial Planning, Teaming, Compliance peers) and identify operational issues that may impact local agency supervisors. Collaboratively influence the introduction and rollout of such activities in a manner designed to ensure the readiness of agency supervisors for such changes.

  • Interface with Business owners of significant MMFA strategic initiatives (e.g., PlanSmart, Salesforce, Financial Planning and Marketing Leads) to develop and enhance a Compliance approach to these programs.

  • Develop, implement and sustain a program that is designed to drive greater consistency of how agency personnel perform supervisory and compliance functions.

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with (i) field partners such as General Agents, Agency Supervisory Officers and advisors and (ii) home office functional leaders.

  • Collaborate effectively across the broader Compliance organization and access relevant subject matter expertise as appropriate.

  • Actively seek and utilize feedback from MMFA business partners to identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities.

  • Oversee the development and delivery, as appropriate, of training for team members and home office and field partners.


  • Prior experience in securities and/or insurance compliance

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • FINRA Series 7 and 24 required within 180 days of hire

  • Ability and willingness to engage in active dialogue with business partners with a goal of developing creative and practical solutions that meet regulatory requirements while balancing the business objectives.

  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment by actively engaging resources from across the Field & Regulatory Compliance team. Identify the desired characteristics, mindsets and behaviors of team members;

  • Actively and transparently recognize individuals who exhibit such characteristics.

  • Ability to deliver tailored communications that take into account the needs of the audience/recipient and most effective method of delivery.

  • Cultivate an environment where others feel valued regardless of their organizational level, experience or background.

  • Ability to encourage and support continuous improvement. Leverage fresh perspectives, breakthrough ideas and new paradigms to create value.

  • Sound judgment, analytical and decision making skills.

  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future


  • 8+ Years of experience in a related role preferred
