Responsibilities

  • Hands on experience with endpoint security tools from an administrative perspective, implementing, upgrading, designing solutions, etc.

  • Experience with products such as VDI, Carbon Black, SEP, Qualys, SCCM agent compliance support, secure boot deployment, BitLocker

  • Utilize technologies such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Intrusion Detection & Prevention (IDS/IPS), Data Leakage Prevention (DLP), governance, risk & compliance (GRC), computer forensics, sniffers andmalware analysis tools

  • Consulting and collaboration for endpoint security (Win, Mac, Unix)Unit, integration and pilot group testing of security tools on workstations and servers

  • Involvement with packaging and deployment of security tools and upgrades

  • Strategic partnerships with vendors

  • Beta testing of future security tools

  • Consulting with building and hardening of baseline images

  • Knowledge of CIS Standards implementation for Windows 10 Workstations

  • Assist the triage of potential incidents &/or breaches to the MassMutual network and systems

  • Define non-functional security requirements for MM technology projects; identify exceptions and articulate securitygaps

  • Take a lead role in conducting security research on threats and remediation techniques/ technology, make recommendations to IS/IT teams and oversee implementation

  • Lead remediation activities stemming from security event analysis, vulnerability management and intrusion detection

  • Support MM’s operational information security responsibilities, including the development maintenance of standards,procedures, and baselines necessary to meet security requirements

  • On Call duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in information technology

  • Bachelor Degree in information technology or associated discipline; or two (2) additional years of experience in a related field for each year of college in lieu of a degree

  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7 years of experience in information technology

  • Solid technical writing skills

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to problem solve with little to no supervision

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills

  • Anticipates change and directs or redirects efforts

  • Looks for and finds ways to improve operations
