Lead, mentor and manage a highly collaborative team of incident response and cyber security operations professionals that oversee cyber security operations for MassMutual and its affiliates. Develop proactive capabilities and processes to manage, mitigate and plan for security incidents. Oversea and manage supporting outsourced security operations services to ensure they are working effectively and meeting MassMutual goals/ requirements of protecting our customer’s information. (50%)
Provide cyber security operations expertise and support to security engineering, tool support & architecture. Enhance existing practices; utilize “best-in-class” technologies and frameworks to drive continuous improvement in security operations. Maintain relationships with organizations such as U.S. CERT, FS-ISAC & Electronic Crimes Task Forces etc. (30%)
Work collaboratively threat analysts, security forensics and incident response professionals to enhance MassMutual’s Cyber Operations program and capabilities. (205)
Eight or more years' experience in :
Demonstrated success in building, mentoring and managing a highly collaborative team of cyber security operations & incident response professionals.
Enhance existing practices; utilize “best-in-class” technologies and frameworks to drive continuous improvement in security operations
Maintain relationships with organizations such as U.S. CERT, FS-ISAC & Electronic Crimes Task Forces etc.
Strong leadership qualities and business acumen able to deal with all levels of the organization
Sound business judgment and decision making skills
Able to drive and influence organizational change
Strong communication an interpersonal skills
Authorized to work in the U.S. with or without sponsorship now or in the future.
Experience in security operations with a sophisticated view of the current threat landscape including Botnets, Exploits, Hacktivism and Nation State Actors.
Bachelor Degree in information technology or associated discipline; Preferable Certifications: CSIH, GSE, GREM, GCFA, GCHI, GCIA, GCFE, E|CH etc.
Previous experience of managing a team of 10+ security analysts
In-depth understanding of web and database technologies
Strong written & verbal communication and presentation skills.
Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment
