Role Summary:

MassMutual’s Fraud Operations is seeking a Fraud Supplier Management Consultant to join us supporting the implementation of MassMutual’s Fraud Prevention strategy. This is an opportunity to join a small but highly visible team with diverse backgrounds, tasked to prevent, detect and respond to fraud committed by and/or against customers, advisors, employees, vendors and MassMutual.

The Fraud Supplier Management Consultant should be comfortable working in a highly collaborative matrix environment and capable of managing fluid objectives. You will be expected to evaluate diverse fraud solutions, define requirements, drive sourcing/procurement, and work effectively with technical partners. You should be comfortable identifying issues, gathering information, producing analysis, presenting various options and driving resulting projects to conclusion.

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Fraud Prevention Need Identification: Consult and assess risk to identify gaps, perform due diligence in order to provide action plan / recommendation to business leaders, if/when vendor capabilities can close gap

  • Risk Management: Responsible for managing identified and potential third party risks with external vendor partner. Coordination with other areas of the Company to ensure compliance with corporate controls, business continuity plans and risk management.

  • Contract Management: Responsible for providing operational insight relative to contract administration and changes

  • Technology Portfolio Management:

  • Secure funding for new engagements

  • Engage Procurement to create new engagements or renew existing engagements, assist in facilitation of the RFP process, contract negotiations, define service level agreement and performance metrics, serve as primary contact in resolving performance issues up to and including termination of contract

  • Responsible for engaging and driving to conclusion any service related issues. Continue to foster environment of continuous improvement.

  • Responsible for managing performance of external vendors including performance reviews and audits.

  • Application Business Owner &System Administration:

  • Including, but not limited to, development, System Setting Administration, Upgrades / Patch Releases, Overall System Performance Monitoring and Reporting (Dashboard), Readiness, User Access Management, Problem Resolution, Reporting and Analytics, Communications, Liaison Role as Business Owner, Industry / User Community Meetings

  • Flexible and willing to adapt to changing dynamic within an evolutionary process and team; it should be expected that a degree of ambiguity is a part of the job

  • Help to create standard practices that will deliver consistency in oversight and management practices

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Candidate must be authorized to work in Unites States without sponsorship

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced degree such as MBA or other professional designations (CPA) preferred

  • Experience with data visualization tools

  • Strong financial acumen
