Position Summary:

Responsible for performing daily office tasks such as filing, recording, maintaining records, running reports, indexing, imaging and transactional processing. Additional responsibilities may include researching, auditing requests, processing work and/or retrieving data or correspondences from files as requested within an appropriate time frame. Supports department and follows organization and department procedures to complete tasks in a timely manner. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Responsibilities:

  • Flexible, can-do attitude, self-motivated, and ability to work effectively with peers and business partners

  • Works well in diverse, fast paced and dynamic professional environment

  • Possesses the ability to switch tasks throughout the day as needed while maintain appropriate accuracy and productivity levels

  • Applies knowledge to handle many problems independently but seeks guidance in highly complex situations

  • Applies basic PC skills

  • Typically has at least 2+ years of related experience

  • Limited authority to make decisions that go beyond established expectations and guidelines

  • For technical jobs, structured analysis and interpretations are required

  • Makes decisions that impact accuracy of data, utilization of equipment, and/or quality of output which ultimately impact cost/revenue

  • Providing administrative support

  • Specialized in nature: requires critical thinking and problem solving ability

  • Data entry and various clerical duties

  • Conducting research utilizing internal data and outside research sources

  • Accommodating the storage of records and documents

  • Proponent of change (e.g., seek out process improvement opportunities)

  • Strong time management skills

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma

  • 1+ years of administrative experience

  • 1+ years of data entry experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

  • Physical Requirements: Able to climb; repetitive use of 7 foot step ladder, ability to lift and move boxes up to 40 pounds (as needed to support department)

  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Financial Services industry experience
