The Enterprise Information Risk Management Portfolio Lead will oversee a collection of investment projects and capability improvement initiatives. The role is responsible for ensuring all information risk and security capability improvement projects or activities are appropriately defined, managed and executed in alignment with MassMutuals strategy and objectives. The Portfolio Lead will manage the budget forecast across the baseline & investment (project) portfolios, including the creation and maintenance within the financial books of record as required. Participate in Program/ Project meetings as required to coordinate and support enterprise-wide collaboration and execution, including development and maintenance of an investment portfolio delivery roadmap in alignment with EIRM’s strategy. In addition, the Portfolio Lead will work with EIRM leadership on understanding cross-portfolio trends, opportunities, and risks to help set, prioritize and execute on EIRM strategy.
Lead EIRM’s Project Portfolio process to ensure discretionary projects are effectively being executed in accordance with project methodologies and ensure high level of quality delivery as defined by information risk requirements and success criteria outlined by the Enterprise Information Risk Management strategy. Monitor the overall health of all services, control and support service delivery; ensuring systems, methodologies and operating procedures are in place and followed. Ensure future demand from service maturity/improvement and projects is understood and factored into capacity plans for all impacted resources/services. (50%)
Manage the monthly budget forecast processes across the EIRM portfolio, ensuring that project managers and business leads are consistently forecasting work, accounting for necessary accruals, managing vendor invoice processes and executing project/capability delivery schedules against forecasted timelines. (30%)
Provide service health, project execution, and financial metrics and reporting to EIRM leadership as needed. Facilitate discussions with EIRM leadership on cross-portfolio trends, opportunities, and risks, based on engagement with the business and technical leads. Consult with business and delivery leads in EIRM to provide cross-portfolio insights with respect to their work efforts. Work with the Project Managers, Business Analysts to provide Managers feedback on existing staff, as well as, to proactively forecast resource needs. (20%)
8 years of experience with PMP Certification (or equivalent experience)
Strong leadership qualities and business acumen able to deal with all levels of the organization
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
10+ years of experience with PMP Certification (or equivalent experience)
Experience in solution delivery
Financial acumen and attention to detail
Proven experience balancing multiple priorities and dealing with ambiguity
Sound business judgment and decision making skills
Able to drive and influence organizational change
Strong communication an interpersonal skills
