  • Translate business requirements, develop technical specifications, and design reports/dashboards at a senior level from potentially multiple data sources for operational and executive users.

  • Utilize expertise to consult and apply the proper data visualization techniques to meet the user stories and self-service capabilities.

  • Build complex and efficient SQL Queries and Stored Procedures for Report development.

  • Perform unit testing and drive peer reviews to ensure quality end product.

  • Troubleshoot reported issues, determine root causes, and implement counter measures.

  • Resolve issues elevated from staff with less experience.

  • Support the development of end user training materials and training activities related to the BI tools and applications.

  • Drive the development of procedures and standards and monitor adherence.

  • Facilitate iterative visualization design visual sessions to obtain customer feedback on concepts and prototypes.

  • Administrate BI servers, monitor report/dashboard performance, and proactively address issues.

  • Conduct training programs and knowledge transfer sessions to junior developers.

  • Act as mentor/coach to staff, providing feedback, and additional training on an ongoing basis.

Basic Qualifications :

  • B.S. degree in Computer Systems Design, Computer Science, or Information Systems

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Tableau and Tableau Server

  • 5+ years of experience any Business Intelligence tool such as Tableau, MS BI, QlikView. Business Objects

  • 5+ years Business Intelligence Consulting and Client Facing Experience

  • 5+ years experience with relational and multidimensional data models.

  • 5+ years experience with Teradata and SQL Server database solutions.

  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Alteryx

  • Expert knowledge with relational database concepts, SQL Queries, Views, Store Procedures

  • Expert experience writing complex SQL to validate reports and tuning Reports to SQL query performance

  • Strong ability to analyze user requirements and build front-end BI applications according to specifications

  • Strong written and oral communication skill

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

  • 2+ years of coaching and leadership skills
