Vendor Governance: Implementation of a comprehensive governance framework to promote the discipline of Supplier Management by defining and communicating policy, standards, and best practices.
Vendor Relationship & Performance Management : Defining and implementing a cadence of business reviews with a focus on mutual candor driven by Performance Scorecards aligned to Business goals. Develops and formalizes and directs the relationship of one or more strategic IT Suppliers.
Contract Management: Working closely with Procurement and other Supplier Relationship Managers to define the Business Case for successful negotiations and outcomes, assist in the definition of Service Level Agreements, Service Level Objectives, and Vendor Governance process.
Vendor Risk Management: Working in partnership with Procurement and other IT Supplier Relationship Managers as needed in mitigating defined risk issues.
Key Role Responsibilities
Develop and implement Vendor Governance
Consulting and education to IT Supplier Relationship Managers
Develop, formalize, and implement Vendor Relationship and Performance Management of one to two strategic vendors. Develop internal relationships with Executive Sponsor, Procurement and Program Managers
Manage escalation and arbitration of vendor issues
Define, measure, and trend Key Performance Indicators, Metrics, and Service Level Agreements in a standardized scorecard
Assist in contract management by working closely with Procurement and Supplier Relationship Managers in defining the Business Case, SLA’s, KPI’s and ongoing Governance
