Manage and lead user experience design across multiple initiatives in a fast pace environment
Design and deliver wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to test user experience and needs
Develop personas, analyze and translate data on usage
Collaborate with product owners and team members to ensure your designs are meeting the business needs
Conduct and participate empathy based user research with focused outcomes
Identify and solve complex UX problems
Collaborate with other peers in the UX role across the organization on procedures, processes, and best practices
Build client trust and respect, establish client relationships, and develop rapport with clients
Participate and engage in all team meetings
Continually seek out opportunities for improvements and efficiencies
3 years or more of experience as a UX Designer/lead
Experience with UI design and design thinking principles
Strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in a geographically dispersed environment (conference calls, Skype, face-to-face)
Ability to work in a collaborative environment and on multiple assignments at once
Experience functioning & executing work in a fast paced iterative environment such as Agile
Take initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking
Bachelor’s degree required
Authorized to work in the U.S without sponsorship now or in the future.
5 years or more of experience as a UX Designer/lead
Insurance and/or financial services industry experience
Experience executing work in a fast paced iterative environment such as Agile
Experience utilizing JIRA
Ability to guide / mentor other developers and troubleshoot issues
